Reddit-ын тухай

Where travellers ask each other the honest questions.

Connect Reddit and ProhostAI can read and post to subreddits — most usefully for monitoring what people actually say about your area and your kind of property.

Дэлгэрэнгүй унших

Reddit is where travellers ask questions they would not ask a business: which part of town to avoid, whether a place is worth the price, what the area is really like in November.

Those threads are unusually honest and unusually influential, because the answers come from people with nothing to sell. For an operator, they are a free and continuous source of what your market actually thinks.

Connecting Reddit makes that monitorable rather than dependent on somebody browsing. Recurring complaints about your area, questions your listings could answer better, and the vocabulary real travellers use are all visible.

On posting, be careful. Reddit communities are hostile to promotion and good at spotting it, so the productive posture is answering questions genuinely where you have expertise — and accepting that anything more promotional will cost you more than it returns.

Search for Reddit and select Connect.
Sign in to Reddit and approve the permissions.
Ask what is being discussed in a relevant subreddit to confirm it works.

Good to know

Reddit communities are hostile to promotion and good at identifying it. Monitoring is the safe use; posting requires judgement.
Most subreddits have rules about self-promotion, and breaking them gets accounts banned.
The best output is usually better listing copy — real travellers describe what they want differently from how operators describe it.
Revoking ProhostAI in your Reddit account settings ends access immediately.

Reddit-ын талаарх асуултууд

Should I promote my properties on Reddit?

Generally no. Communities are hostile to promotion and good at spotting it. Answering questions genuinely where you have expertise works; anything more promotional costs more than it returns.

What is the safe use?

Monitoring. What people ask and complain about regarding your area is free market research from people with nothing to sell.

How does this improve my listings?

Real travellers describe what they want differently from how operators describe it. Borrowing their vocabulary usually improves listing copy.

Can I get banned?

Yes, if you break a subreddit’s self-promotion rules. Those rules vary and are enforced by volunteers.

How do I disconnect Reddit?

Open Settings → Connections in ProhostAI and disconnect it, or revoke it in your Reddit account settings.
