Monday tends to arrive when a property company grows past informal coordination and someone builds a proper board: turnovers, maintenance, owner onboarding, each with owners and statuses and a colour scheme somebody cares about.

It works while attention lasts. The failure is not the tool, it is that updating a board is a separate action from doing the work, and the person doing the work is usually holding something.

Connecting Monday lets the board update itself from real events. Items get created when a problem is reported, statuses change as jobs finish, and updates get posted where the team is already looking — without adding an admin step to anyone’s day. A board that is trusted gets consulted, and a board that gets consulted is worth having built.

Setup

Monday.com connects through OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

  1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.

  2. Search for Monday.com and select Connect.

  3. Sign in to Monday.com and approve the permissions.

  4. Ask what is open on one of your boards to confirm it works.

Good to know

  • The AI works within the connected account’s board access.

  • Column names are the vocabulary — descriptive ones produce better results.

  • Monday stays the system of record; its automations continue to run as normal.

  • Revoking ProhostAI in Monday’s admin settings ends access immediately.

Questions sur Monday.com

Will this interfere with our Monday automations?

No. Items and updates are created normally, so existing automations trigger as they would for any other change.

Which boards can it access?

Those the connected account can see. It gains no access beyond that user’s own.

Can it fill in our custom columns?

Yes, using your existing column structure. Descriptive column names make that noticeably more reliable.

What should we use it for?

Keeping boards current without a separate admin step — creating items when problems are reported and moving statuses as work finishes.

How do I disconnect Monday.com?

Open Settings → Connections in ProhostAI and disconnect it, or revoke ProhostAI in Monday’s admin settings.
