Arranging a call is a small task that generates a surprising amount of switching: open the calendar, create the event, add the video link, invite the people, then go back and tell them it exists.

For a property manager doing that several times a week — owner reviews, contractor briefings, team catch-ups — it adds up, and each switch is a chance to be interrupted before finishing.

Connecting Google Meet compresses it into one step. The meeting gets created with a link and the right invitees from wherever the arrangement came up, which for teams already in Google Workspace means it lands in the calendar everyone already uses. Small saving per call, but the interruptions it removes are the kind that cost a whole train of thought.

Setup

Google Meet connects through Google OAuth, so ProhostAI never sees your password.

  1. Open ProhostAI and go to Settings → Connections.

  2. Search for Google Meet and select Connect.

  3. Sign in to Google Meet and approve the permissions.

  4. Ask it to set up a test meeting to confirm it works.

Good to know

  • Meetings are created against the connected Google account and appear in its calendar.

  • Connecting Google Calendar as well is worth it — that is what lets the AI check availability before proposing a time.

  • Recording and transcription depend on your Google Workspace plan and settings.

  • Revoking ProhostAI in your Google account’s third-party access settings ends access immediately.

Is this useful if we already use Zoom?

Most teams use one or the other. Meet fits naturally if you are already in Google Workspace.

How do I disconnect Google Meet?

Open Settings → Connections in ProhostAI and disconnect it, or remove ProhostAI from your Google account’s third-party access settings.
